Show & Tell
As a fun way to support the reading standard:
I can ask and answer such questions as
who, what, where, when, why and how to
demonstrate understanding of key
details in a story
we will be having show and tell. Your child is welcome to bring in one object or picture that fits inside the bag (nothing valuable, please) to reading class. They must also write three facts about their item on the notecard. Good facts to share might be: Who gave it to them? What it is? Where did they get it? When did they get it? Why it is special to them? How it makes them feel?
Students will be able to share on their given day and other students will ask questions.
Please let me know if you did not get a bag or need to know what day your child is signed up for.
Math
Please practice and review addition facts
Especially doubles (5 + 5, 7 + 7) and sums of 10 (7+3=10, 6+4=10)
We are working on reading, writing and representing numbers in the hundreds.
